He is married to a Philadelphian, Malka, a nurse in the Baltimore County Public Schools, for 38 years, and they have three grown young men and one daughter-in-law, all of whom are in the medical/healthcare fields. He enjoys home and office DIY projects, listening to and playing music, and his weekly cycling outing with Malka.
