COVID-19 Update - Fall 2023
We have remained open through the duration of this public health crisis in order to serve our patients. We continue to monitor and follow CDC recommendations and state health guidelines. MASK USE FOR PATIENTS AND STAFF IS OPTIONAL. If you prefer that your clinician wears a mask while interacting with you, we are happy to accommodate that request.
Patients will no longer be screened prior to every visit, however, if you have a fever or flu-like symptoms, please call our office and do not come to therapy.
Telehealth has opened up as a practice option for Maryland physical therapists as a response to the COVID19 pandemic. Most insurances are participating, although they each have their own interpretations and rules. Please contact our office with questions regarding your specific insurance and telehealth coverage.

About Us
Esterson & Associates Physical Therapy has been a respected member of the Baltimore metropolitan healthcare community for over thirty years. The practice was started in 1985 by Samuel H. Esterson and rapidly grew to a team of 14 professional and support staff. The practice is totally dedicated to providing patients, referring physicians, case managers, and payers with high quality, timely, and cost-effective physical therapy services.
The professional staff of Esterson & Associates brings more than 75 years of combined physical therapy excellence and expertise to their patients. Our experience, combined with a team approach to care, allows each patient to obtain his or her maximum level of function. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and attention and vow to exceed patient expectations. Physicians rely on our dedication, commitment, and high levels of satisfaction for each patient they refer.
Four of our therapists are Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialists. Therapists achieve this upon successful completion of a rigorous exam assessing breadth and depth of advanced clinical knowledge and skills. Earning this designation from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists shows a dedication to our profession and patients.
State-of-the-art equipment, highly qualified and well-trained staff, outstanding communication, and the use of the most advanced treatment techniques, are all important aspects of Esterson & Associates Physical Therapy's commitment to their patients and referring professionals. Each staff member is sensitive to the specific needs and concerns of each patient.
Our facility maintains Star-Trac® and Biodex® brand cardio equipment, recumbent bicycle, cable column, treadmill, trampoline, upper body ergometer, bounce back, free weights, and a Cybex NORM isokinetic computerized testing and exercise device. All our modality equipment is proudly manufactured in the USA by the Chattanooga and Dynatronics Corporations.
